Valentine's

This is a little late but I just had to post these cute pictures of our Valentine's.  Hallister loves to have his picture taken with Liberty.  Preston is up for anything as long as he can put something in his mouth.

 

Liberty - 3 Months Old

Our beauty is 3 months old!!  This onesie makes her looks big but that's because it is a Newborn.  She is comfortably fitting in 3-6 month clothes.  This little angel is sleeping thru the night!  I started reading the book again 12 Hours of Sleep by 12 Weeks and applied that logic to her schedule.  (I read this same book and was able to use these methods with Preston, but that wasn't until he was 7 months old!) She gets the same amount of milk, just at less feedings during the day.  She eats at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm, so every 4 hours, then she goes to bed.  Sometimes she wakes up at 5am or 6am.  If she does I give her the paci because after many nights in a row, I know she can make it until 7am.  She takes 3 pretty good naps, one in the morning, one in the afternoon when the boys are napping (Praise God) and the other in the evening right around supper time.

We put her to bed and let her soothe herself to sleep, rather than rocking her or putting her in bed already asleep.  I think this has really helped her soothe herself during the night if she does happen to wake up.  She knows we aren't going to rush in and pick her up.  She sure loves her Daddy and knows his voice.  She gets real talkative when Jonathan holds her and looks at her.  She is also responding to Hallister and will smile when he lays on the playmat with her, or when he hugs her.

We are so thankful she is healthy and growing beautifully.
