Trip to the Zoo

Here are pictures from our trip to the Zoo. We had fun with our dear friends from Lifegroup: Ann, David, and Jacob Foster, and Liz and Aaron Strot. Look at all those boys! Poor Hallister had a runny nose but was a trooper and thoroughly enjoyed the slide. He also liked looking at the "big kitties" but they were too far away to get a picture with him.

16 Months Old

Today was a big day, Hallister turned 16 months old, I am 18 weeks pregnant, and we found out we are having a boy. We celebrated by taking a trip to the Zoo. Poor Hallister has had a runny nose the past three days. Thankfully he is still sleeping OK at night. He is not a big fan of baby food anymore, he likes macaroni or mashed potatoes, and loves spaghetti still. He still likes his milk in a bottle and warmed up. His new thing is turning his bottle or sippy cup upside down on the high chair or coffee table and then playing with whatever dribbles out. He still sleeps with his pacifier, but we try to only give it to him when he is in his crib. We have said 'baby' to him and I have patted my belly. Now when we ask him where is the baby he will lift up my shirt and shove his finger in my belly button - OUCH! At least he knows the word, but little does he know what is in store.

Baby Senn #2 Update

Today I went to my midwife and we heard a strong heartbeat at 158 bpm. I can definitely tell the baby is higher this time, since I can still wear pre-pregnancy pants. I take Zofran right when I get up and have not had a problem with nausea. I was sick this past Monday evening but after pedialyte and going to bed at 7:30pm I felt better on Tuesday. Working and keeping up with Hallister really wears me out. I am thankful though for a happy and healthy son I get to play with during the day. A daily nap seems necessary.....or going to sleep as soon as Hall does. We are so excited that two weeks from tomorrow we will find out what we are having! The next baby's post will be the gender! Until then.....
